Simply Misunderstood XO

I’m the type of girl who’s independent and knows what she wants, but still has a HUGE heart and wants to please everyone. Yes, I do believe there are others like me out there too, just very few and far between. It’s hard to find a girl like us.

We are the girls that may seem very complicated at first, but really we just know what we deserve, and you’re obviously not giving it to us if you think we’re complicated after some time spent with us. It’s actually pretty simple when you think about it. We’re really not complicated at all. So, for all you confused guys out there let me just spell it out for you…

We’re the type of girls who won’t ask you to feel bad for us (but could always use a shoulder to cry on).

We’re the type of girls who won’t fight for your attention (but will appreciate every second of it).

We’re the type of girls who won’t ask you to buy us presents and flowers (but it’s nice to feel loved).

We’re the type of girls who won’t expect you to know what our hormones put us through sometimes (but sympathy goes a long way).

We’re the type of girls who won’t complain about our problems (but could always use someone to listen).

We’re the type of girls who won’t turn down doing something nice for you (but it’s nice to feel appreciated).

We’re the type of girls who won’t get mad at you for the little things (but an apology makes it worth it).

We’re the type of girls who won’t expect you to remember every significant holiday (but getting an anniversary card shows your true priorities).

We’re the type of girls who won’t ask you to talk to us every second of every day (but nothing tops feeling wanted).

There’s a lot of things we won’t do, but it’s all for a good reason. Deep down we want to care for you so much, but a lot of men make that so difficult. You see, all we want is to love you with all of our heart, and obviously we have a big enough one with so much love to spare. We would rather focus our time and energy on you than on ourselves because that’s just who we are. Pleasing you makes us happy; we thrive on it. We have no problem putting you on a pedestal and making you our King; but let’s not forget, you can’t be King without a Queen next to you. Most guys either don’t see that (because they’re idiots) or just don’t understand how we operate and push us to our limits.

If someone would just take the time to get to know someone like us, we could totally rock their world. In the meantime though, we will keep working on ourselves because after all, girls like us know we don’t NEED a man to make us feel complete. And when the day comes where a man is brave enough to step up to the plate and see all we’re worth, you best bet he’s going to be living the royal life and nothing less.
