I was reminded of a memory today, and I just HAVE to share it! Here’s the story…
On the train to work one morning a woman said “excuse me” to a man sitting in the aisle seat of a two-seater, which in train language means he should either get up and let her in or move over to let her sit.
And he did. Well, he started to. He was getting up, but veeeery slowly. Not to make her mad purposely or anything, but just because I think he had trouble standing up from a seat in general.
So right in the middle of his struggle to get up, she sounded all pissed and said “you know what, never mind” and walked away to find another seat. The poor guy didn’t say a word and just very slowly sat back down. 😢
In my head I was like “Bitch wtf?! So rude!” But I guess people don’t have the same heart as me (as I’ve unfortunately grown to learn over and over again).
And so, my heart breaks for this man. 💔 He did nothing wrong. And he so gracefully didn’t say a word when the rude woman got mad at his capabilities.
It’s people like this man that deserve all of the love, prayers, and well wishes we give! Especially during the holiday season! 💙
