Simply Misunderstood XO

This little guy moved alllll the way to Colorado a few weeks ago.

He was my first “cousin” on my mom’s side of the family.
⠀⠀
He’s been in the fam for well over 10 years now, and he’s my bud. 🥰
⠀⠀
I swear dogs know when there’s something wrong with you.
⠀⠀
I’ll always remember this moment when he was at my house with my aunt and I got upset at something and stormed upstairs.
⠀⠀
Before going to my room I stopped at the top of the stairs and looked back…that’s when I saw sweet little Cheech staring back at me.

Literally staring. Like he knew something was wrong and that I needed comfort.
⠀⠀
He didn’t come upstairs though, but just from that look I knew that he was trying to tell me it was okay. 🙏🏼

He’s always been just around the corner, or a short drive away. But now he’s a couple hour PLANE ride away! ✈️😳

I never had a dog growing up, so he’s the closest thing I have to my own! 💙
