Simply Misunderstood XO

I saw this quote when I was at the Social Media Marketing World conference last month.

This describes exactly why I started this blog.
⠀⠀
I’m a 26 year old girl who has…
👉🏼 been a caregiver to someone with cancer
👉🏼 lost a parent at a young age
👉🏼 experienced ALL stages of grief
👉🏼gotten backstabbed by so many friends (and even family)
👉🏼endured heartbreak by so many boys
⠀⠀
✊🏼 and still lives to tell the tale.
⠀⠀
I didn’t get this way because I had an “easy” life. NO. I am this way BECAUSE of my struggles. And now I share my experiences with you because I know you can relate too.

Let’s be real. Nobody’s life is perfect no matter what they portray on Instagram or the rest of social media.
⠀⠀
I choose to call out my hardships, heart breaks, and losses so I can show you that it IS possible to move on. Be strong. Remain positive. And most importantly SMILE again! 😊

I’m happy to share my story with the world because back when I went through a lot of these challenges in life, I wish I had someone like me I could relate to, rely on, and be inspired by… to give me hope that there IS light at the end of the tunnel.

And even though I’ve been through so much already, I know there’s SO much more I have yet to go through.
